This was a picture taken on a road that gave me such a feeling of peace and seclusion, which I feel I captured in this painting. The light and shadow by the fence caught my eye, which became my area of dominance.
During a visit to my friends place up in Arlington, WA she indulged me by going for a drive looking for subject matter in a very rural environment. I found a quiet moment in the business of life on this road.
