One the Edge, original watercolor painting of a bay with poles sticking out of the water. There is tideland and tidal grasses in the foreground and a blue landmass in the distance. The sky is cloudy with birds flying.
I have always loved the New England coastline that merges sea and marsh, creating interesting edges along the sea, into the rivers and ultimately into the marsh (would be the foreground edge). Fond memories inspired me to attempt this, my first seascape – shortly after taking my very first watercolor class with Diane Klock.
